Biggest Loser

Tracy Earll

"I’m a mom of 2, Maddy is 4 years old and Cayden is 3 months old. I love life, and now I want to love myself. I’m looking for help to accomplish all my goals. I have a wonderful and supportive husband who is excited for me to win. I signed up for Madison’s Biggest Loser because I just had my second and final baby, and I’m looking to get healthy for me and my children. My personal goals for this contest are to lose around 50-70 pounds, get healthy and run my first 5K. "

Amanda Frederick

"I am originally from Green Bay, WI where I was an accomplished high school athlete. I moved to Madison to attend college at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and was a member of the Wisconsin Women's Rowing Team. My senior year, I helped our team win a team birth to the NCAA Tournament in Sacramento, CA where my boat finished 7th in the country. After graduation, I missed the competition of rowing and began competing in local triathlons. I am a finisher of the Wisconsin Ironman in 2007! Since finishing the Ironman in 2007 life became very busy and my priorities shifted a bit. I got married, bought a house, and changed jobs! My mother was diagnosed with cancer and traveling back to Green Bay to be with family filled evenings and weekends. Work began to consume what free time I had left. I just lost track of me. I hope to achieve a few things through Madison's Biggest Loser contest! I want to compete in triathlons again. I want to not only finish triathlons, but I want to LOOK like a triathlete! I want to learn to live an active and BALANCED life-style that, perhaps someday, I can pass onto my own family. I want to wear my engagement ring again (I've not been able to wear it since gaining weight). I would like to lose 40 lbs. I want to find me again! "

Roger Greenwell

"I’m currently a graduate student in the Microbiology Doctoral Training Program at the UW-Madison. I’ve always been an active and social person, but I have always been big. I enjoy traveling, sports and television. I’m interested in playing more sports and also being a great scientist (still need to work in both). I’m about to begin searching for post-doctoral positions as I begin this life-changing experience. I signed up for Madison’s Biggest Loser because I have tried for the Biggest Loser before because I needed to lose this weight. My dad has had two heart attacks, his first at age 31. I’m getting close to that age. I’m ready and motivated to get the weight off now. My personal goals for this contest are I want to work hard and lose weight. I want to take what I learn and continue to apply it to the rest of my life. I want to make this experience a life habit. My weight lose goal is between 60-100 pounds."

Mylinda Hiel

"I am a stay at home mother of 2 girls Amelia, 3 and ½ years old and Megan, 22 months old. I live in Verona with my wonderful husband, Chris. We moved to Madison 2 years ago from Iowa so we are still getting to know the area and people. So far, we love it. I love biking, swimming and spending time with my family. I signed up for Madison’s Biggest Loser because I’m 32, and I have been fat for the last 20 years. I’m tired of not doing things I enjoy because of my weight. I have 2 small children that need to learn good eating habits so the unhealthy lifestyle cycle doesn’t continue. My personal goals for this contest are I want to see a weight loss every week. I hope to lose 40 pounds total. I hope to be capable of running a 10 minute mile for a 5k. I would love to see definition in my arms and stomach."
